Experimental Jetset is an Amsterdam graphic design unit founded in 1997 by Marieke Stolk, Erwin Brinkers and Danny van den Dungen. Focusing on printed matter and installation work and inspired by modernism and rock culture.

A bit more than a month ago we were meant to upload what we had been doing on a Friday night.That Friday, I stayed home, but the following Wednesday, on the 5th of December, I went to the opening of Black Balloon at Punk, the dress code was black. Closest thing I found to what was, I guess, my first introduction to jazz, as a child. They use to air old cartoons in the evening on a channel called Canal+ in France. The show was called “Ça cartoon” and would feature jazzy-like scenes, like the 3 wise monkeys singing and clapping their hands, that kind of stuff. It was actually a bit scarry.Maxime
